Helping Empower Lives in Peterborough

What we do...

Our aim is to empower individuals to improve their lives with a variety of free opportunities and services. By offering one to one appointments, help learning English, opportunities to socialise and make friends or help with essentials such as food, clothing and toiletries.

Our staff are highly experienced and can help you with a wide variety of needs such as translation, building your CV, applications for benefits or schools, registering as homeless or reporting hate crimes. We also hope to offer free immigration advice soon.

"Sometimes people who have suffered oppression and disadvantage need help from people who care; especially if they are in a new country without the support of people they love." - H.E.L.P Trustee

We can accept clothes and toys (which are in good condition without stains or rips), to give out to families in need. We also accept new toiletries and long life food items.

Alternatively you can give money donations through the link. This gives us flexibility to purchase the things most needed.

Have an afternoon to spare? We need kind volunteers like yourself, to help us with sorting food parcels, one to one appointments and teaching english. Whatever your skills are, there is a way you can help, just drop us an email. Training and support are provided within our friendly team.

Our mission is to enable people living in Peterborough and surrounding areas, to be empowered and live happily, whatever their ethnicity, gender, sexuality, disabilities, political views or religion. We believe in equality, fairness and that every individual has the right to feel safe, supported and without struggles.
